Art objects made of wax and dust, are presented in the exhibition “The Essence of Dust. Dust Expeditions on Posterstein Castle/Museum @burgposterstein with Wolfgang Stöcker, Cologne”.

“If you understand German, you are lucky: the guy, his thoughts and his ‘hunting expeditions’ for dust are amazing. Every piece of dust he collects is getting archived by him meticulously as well. It’s fun and seriousness in one, a practical philosophy.”, comments Peter Soemers from the Netherlands after visiting the exhibiton.

Dust reflects transience, human traces in history, preservation or loss of the past, new life for hidden remains – a metaphor for the hard labour of archivists, librarians and museum professionals as well!
