Museum Association Posterstein Castle

Association for research, maintenance, support and conservation of regional history, culture and art. The Association, seated at Posterstein Castle, was founded in 1990 and is registered as non-profit-making institution. It is open for all friends of the museum, for private and for company membership. It makes it possible to participate at, to support and to fund Posterstein Castle.

Since January 2007 the Association administrates the museum Posterstein Castle.

Many members support the museum as volunteers at events and under the production of publications. Every year an educational journey – often following the track of Duchess Anna Dorothea of Courland – takes place.

More than 70 international guests took a seat at the long table in the park of Tannenfeld Castle in summer 2011, when the 250th birthday of the Duchess was celebrated with an exhibition, a conference and the release of a new book.
